are there any places in bangkok thailand to watch american football?
How safe would Bangkok, Thailand be for an 18 year old male solo traveller...>>
i am going to be in bangkok for a few weeks and i dont want to miss my american football games if i can help it. anyone know any place i can watch them?
True Visions, the local cable/satelitte provider broadcasts two games on True Sports 4 (ch. 62) live every week, the problem is that the games start at midnight on Mondays and don’t end until around 7:00 AM. They do replay the games during the day and evenings all week long at various times. ESPN usually shows Monday Night Football but hasn’t yet this year, maybe after the baseball season ends. Many of the better hotels have True Visions or you can try one of the sports bar/pubs, although I doubt if they stay open all night to show American football, and good luck getting them to watch American football if there’s a big soccer match on. 
That is a tricky question. I was in BKK last year and was able to watch the ALCS baseball in a hotel. Most channels are world channels. You can always send an email to the hotel or certain pubs. I will be there in October… Send me an email and I can let you know where.

True Vision, the major cable operator in Thailand, shows NFL live every Monday Morning. The problem is time difference. U have to wake up around 3 am on Monday morning (BKK time) to watch the game. But if u’re a big fan, definitely worth it.
