Not sure if you’re adventurous enough like me for street food… I love street food like deep-fried tempura prawns with mayonaise, chicken balls, fried chicken, other daily local thai food eaten by locals etc.

Search beside the centre for small Thai restaurants (sometimes only 2, 3 tables, look not to nice) with Thai customers.
My favorite is Pad Ka Pao (minced meat with Thai basil). If you have the chance, you also should try Gaeng Hang Ley. It is a curry from Northern Thailand and usually hard to get as it needs a few hours to prepare. But extremely delicious.
Also not forget to tell them spicy, medium spicy or non-spicy (pet, pet niknoi, mai pet).
