We were looking at Bali (want somewhere cheap) but with all the unrest, it is probably not such a good idea. Does anyone have any other cheap, fun places to go?
I went on my first O/S holiday with my sis to Phuket last year and want to do something similar soon – good night life, shopping, adventure (white water rafting, bungee etc) etc with my boyfriend. We were looking at Bali (want somewhere cheap) but with all the unrest, it is probably not such a good idea. Does anyone have any other cheap, fun places to go? (other than thailand)

how about Krabi just east of Phuket. Phuket is one of the expensive places here in Thailand Krabi in the off season is cheap and things to do. Or maybe for some wild night life try Pattaya.

What are good things to buy in Phuket?
