Good tailors in Ko Samui Thailand and how much for a suit?
I’m going to be visiting Ko Samui in Thailand in a few weeks and I’d like to get a couple of three-piece business suits made while I’m there. I’d like to know what to expect in terms of cost and where to go. All the tailors are good, but they work so quickly, 24 hours sometimes. If you are there for two weeks, you could get a pair of pants made up, (they will ask how long you are there for and drag it out if they can) to see how well it is done, then decide if you want the same tailor to do more work. Last time I was in Thailand 12 months ago a mans suit Jacket two pairs of trousers, two shirts and a tie were available from less than £100/$150. That is a rough guide because exchange rates have changed. You can get designer jeans copied for £7 a pair and special silk shirts with a lot of flamboyant embroidery on too. best to take plenty of pictures or designs with you if you want that sort of work doing. Enjoy your holiday.

I wouldn’t advise it.

Cost will depend on the quality of the fabric you want. I would suggest that you take a picture of what you want with you, better still a suit you already have which you would like to have copied and tell them what changes you want making to it.

I reckon ya be better of getting ya suits done in Bangkok, not that there will be anything wrong with having them made in samui just no doubt it would be cheaper in Bkk, I recently had a three piece suit and a long over coat made in hui hin and it cost me 9000 baht I would have paid more than that here in aust just for the jacket shop around and barter you will get a good deal
